Natsai Todd

Executive Producer, Director, & Writer

​Natsai Todd is an independent filmmaker and soon-to-be graduate of the Film and Media Arts program at Temple University. She has produced several student films and assisted on her classmates' projects. Todd has interned for Morgan Freeman's production company Revelations Entertainment where she realized her passion for producing. She is currently a marketing intern for the Greater Philadelphia Film Office and in association with the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival to create a web series panel event. Todd has been a storyteller for as long as she can remember is very excited about her first independent project, Junior Citizens. She wishes to use this web series to launch her production company & online network, Maroon Media. 

Melissa De Leon

Producer

​Melissa De Leon is an emerging filmmaker whose passion for creativity started at an early age when she discovered that she loved writing. Soon that love opened a door to other venues of creativity, including photography, acting, and of course, filmmaking. Currently, De Leon is working on several projects. One of these is a documentary called A Bird Without Wings, which explores a young-adult's abusive childhood, the legal system that failed to protect him, and his current search for his sexual identity. She is also working on several short stories for Inkpop.com, and is in the early stages of writing a book. In her spare time, De Leon likes to read, write book reviews, and practice martial arts, among other things. She also enjoys volunteering with kids. She teaches Sunday school and has volunteered at Mighty Writers, a non-profit organization in Philadelphia. De Leon has recently become involved in activism. She has previously served as a producers for the short film Therapy and is very excited to be a part of Junior Citizens.

Zack Auron

Cinematographer

​Zack Auron is an independent filmmaker currently living and working in the Tri-State area. He has a BA in Film and Media Arts from Temple University and experience in videography of various genres such as fiction, documentary, and experimental. Auron is confident that if you put a camera in his hands he can shoot it. Todd met Auron during the production of the ambitious short film, Vocabulary of the Mysteries, which he was also the cinematographer for, which allowed Todd to feel confident in his filmmaking abilities after witnessing his work ethic first-hand and the professionalism of the film's finished product featured in his reel. 

Kristen Williamson 

Assistant Director

​Kristen Williamson is an independent filmmaker and soon-to-be graduate of Temple University with a BA in Film and Media Arts. She has previously worked with De Leon on Therapy as the film's AD and editor. Todd met Williamson previously through summer film courses previously as well. She has been an AD for several student projects.

Helen Mersiowsky​

Editor, Color Corrections, & Graphics 

​Helen Mersiowsky is an up and coming video-editor/writer in the Philadelphia area. She is currently interning at ShootersTV. She is also working with Shiny Studios creator on the documentary, A Bird Without Wings.  Mersiowsky has worked as lead editor for Shiny Studios on Complete (2011) and Boxes (2012). She worked as lead editor on Life After (2012), and as the assistant editor for Fragmented (2012). Mersiowsky has also created and edits a style show called Sixty Seconds Of Style. As an intern and part-time employee at Comcast Sportsnet Philly, she learned about the sports industry and ways in which to create footage to generate a web-based audience.

Paul "S. Frosty" Jackson

Events & Marketing

​Paul Jackson is a freelance event planner, host, emcee, and project strategy specialist with valuable experience in a range of entertainment projects. He is the founder of S. Frosty Networx (SFX), a brand-entity centered on networking tactics, event marketing & promotion, new & social media strategy, and relative consultancy. Jackson also has experience in lighting & sound design, as well as room & set design. The producers of Junior Citizens will utilize his expertise in the planning, development, and execution for the upcoming premiere party in June 2013. Jackson will also be present in the planning and development of marketing and promotional strategies for the web series.
